Heart of Clachmaninshire is a Scottish professional football club based in Clachmaninshire. Heart of Clachmaninshire play in the Scottish Premier League and have finished 11th for the last two consecutive seasons.
2008-09 season[]
The Clackers were something of a slow starter in the 2008-09 season, going some 35 league games before scoring a goal, the Goalinator scoring all 41 goals in a 41-0 rout of Clachnacuddin Bruce Forsyth. Although Heart of Clachmaninshire seemed to fall back into old habits with a 0-0 draw against Edinburgh Fringe, a 7-0 victory over Glencoe Massacre gave the team a chance of avoiding relegation, provided they defeated their final league opponents, 11th placed local rivals Twatshead Thistle.
A pitch side brawl led to the match being abandoned and the match being declared a 0-0 draw. However, the decution of points (2 from Thistle and 1 from Clachmaninshire) led to the Clackers finishing 11th on goal difference, escaping relegation in a much more secure manner than the team had the season before.
